FOALS OF 2007

The foaling season at Log Hollow Farm officially began on April 16th at 9:30 P.M. with the arrival of a  lovely, substantial Bay Tobiano Pinto Colt by Alexander. 

Asoaka - Bay Tobiano Colt by Alexander

 

This beautiful colt is by Alexander and out of a very well bred TB mare, ToChee, by Prince Astro.  The colt is substantial weighing in at 140# at birth!  He has a gorgeous head, long legs and lovely topline.  Congratulations to Julia and Alan Snyder of Harleysville, Pa on the safe arrival of this colt. 

 

The other black boy in the photo is my year old Great Dane, Toby, who is totally in love with his new friend!

Adeline - Dark Bay Tobiano Filly by Alexander

 

Here are some photos I received from the new owners of the Belgian Warmblood mare, Naivitie (aka Lilly), we recently sold to Allan Newcomb of North Carolina.  He and his wife, Rebecca, are thrilled with their new filly by Alexander that was born 4/18/07. 

 

Rebecca purchased Lilly for Allan in December for his birthday... quite a nice surprise!

Herkules - Dark Bay Tobiano Colt by Heraklion (Hohenstein/ Weltmeyer)

 

All we can say is "WOW"!  Our black tobiano mare, Ali, by Alexander, gave birth to a awesome pinto colt by Heraklion on May 21st at 8:30 P.M.  Herk is tall and elegant... long legs and beautiful neck.  His canter at 5 days old is incredible and he is already doing lead changes.  This is Heraklion's first and last foal crop.  He was sold to a performance rider that was not interested in keeping a stallion, so he is now a gelding.

 

 

 

                                                                                               

 

2006

Belize LH- aka "Benny" - Black Colt by Balta Czar

 

Our Alexander daughter, Ali, gave us a beautiful true black colt on May 25th.  Benny is by Balta Czar (Alla Czar) and is a very tall glass... is elegant in every way!  Benny will be presented Rheinland- Pfalz-Saar on August 1st at Log Hollow Farm.

 

                                                                                    

Dante LH - Dark Bay Colt by Donatelli

 

Our beautiful Hanoverian mare, Finalee (aka Leah) gave birth to a gorgeous dark bay colt by Donatelli.... Dante weighed in at 150 lbs!

 

This colt is gorgeous in every way.  Dante is very tall, has a lovely topline and a beautiful shoulder connection... can't wait to see him move.  He will be presented to the American Hanoverian Society in July. 

 

 

                                                       

Aubrey LH - Bay Pinto Filly by Alexander

 

Our Belgian Warmblood mare Naivitie, had a lovely bay tobiano filly by Alexander May 5th.  She is a very tall elegant filly with tons of flash.   Will be presented Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar in August at Log Hollow Farm.

 

                                              

Alexis - Bay Pinto Filly by Alexander

 

Alexis was the first foal to be born at Log Hollow Farm.  She is lovely in every way... beautiful head, lovely neck and shoulder connection and a fantastic temperament to boot!  PLUS she has gorgeous color on top of all these attributes... what more can you ask for?

 

Alexis is by Alexander out of the Thoroughbred mare, ToChee and owned by Julia Snyder of Harleysville, Pa.  This filly will be presented Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar at Log Hollow Farm on August 1st.

 

 

                                              

2005

Faelyn - Dark Bay Filly

 

We are thrilled with the new addition to Log Hollow Farm.  Our beautiful Hanoverian mare, Finalee (aka Leah) gave birth to a gorgeous dark bay filly by Fabuleux (Fabriano).  Fae was born on Friday evening, April 15th at 9:15 P.M.  Fae has long legs, is short coupled, has a china doll face, has termendous strength in hind quarters and very uphill.

 

Sorry, she is a KEEPER for LHF!

Abraham - Dark Bay Colt

 

Abe is our first foal of the season born on March 29.  He is by Alexander and out of our Belgian Warmblood mare Naivitie (Branco/ Rothschild).  This foal is already exhibiting beautiful movement, has a lovely shoulder placement and well set back withers.  He is  friendly, handled daily, and a joy to be around.  Abe will be presented RPRI this fall.  Good home a must.  Video upon request.

2004

Pearce - Tall, Dark & Handsome

Pearce is a beautiful black/ bay colt with 3 white socks & large diamond marking by Pablito out of a Dutch/ TB mare.  He is handled daily, has a wonderful temperament, beautiful movement and is good for grooming, trimming & farrier.  Pearce is branded and registered by RPSI.  Should mature to 16.2+.  Good home a must.  Video upon request.

Romia - Tall & Elegant

Romia is a tall and elegant bay filly with 2 hind socks & star on forehead.  She is by the Oldenburg stallion, Routinier and out of Miss Marpol (TB) who is a premium mare.  Her movement is outstanding and uphill with every step.  Romia received a GOLD premium award at her recent RPSI inspection with an overall score of 8.2

As Good As It Gets - (aka Aggy)

Aggy is a gorgeous colt by Alexander out of a well bred TB mare, ToChee (Prince Astro/ Polleta/ Winning Bull).  Aggy has a puppy dog personality, beautiful confirmation and lovely movement.  He was Reserve Champion colt at the PA Hunter futurity show in 2004 and received an impressive 8.4 for confirmation at his RPSI inspection.
